SPEECH, DRAMA AND DEBATE

Shad decided to be on  the SPEECH, DRAMA AND DEBATE Team his Senior year and did quite well for joining late in the season. (see below):

 

Polson 2nd in Drama at Bigfork

Polson came in 2nd in drama just behind Libby at the 22-school Bigfork Invitational last weekend. Polson was 4th in Speech and Debate sweeps behind C. Falls, Whitefish and Hamilton. Congratulations to the following placers at the meet:

Polson captures 2010 Northwest Division Drama Championship

Polson captures 2010 Northwest Division Drama Championship
Polson trounced the nearest competition by 86 points at the team took the Northwest Divisonal Drama Championship Saturday with champions in four of the six drama events. Polson had 147 points; Libby was third with 64, squeezing by Ronan at 61 points. Polson also came in third in the division in Speech & Debate behind Columbia Falls and Whitefish.

NaTalia Arlint earned fifth place in Pantomime. Ejnar Petersen and Shad Giles earned sixth place in Humorous Duo Acting.


POLSON PLACES 2ND IN DRAMA AT STATE


Polson came in second in drama sweepstakes at the 21-school State Class A Speech, Debate and Drama Meet hosted in Corvallis Thursday and Friday.

Semi Finals in the Classical Duo: Actors Kelsey Koberg and Laura Barta, Serious Solo Actor Katy Swope, Humorous Solo Actors  Ejnar Petersen and Shad Giles and Pantomime actor Katy Swope.
